Bård Kleppe

Bård Kleppe holds an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies and a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies from the University of Southeast Norway. His PhD project was a comparative study of cultural policy and artistic work in three European countries. Kleppe has worked as a researcher at the Telemark Research Institute since 2008 and has conducted a number of research projects on cultural policy, artists' working conditions and artistic dissemination for young people. He has published a number of evaluations, reports and academic articles on these topics.

Kleppe is the author of the Norwegian profile for the project European Cmpendium of Cultural Policies and Trends in Europe run by the Council of Europe. Kleppe has professional experience in the cultural sector, both as a museum educator and as a concert promoter.
